These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the legal terms that govern your access to and use of the MyPiece website and related services (the "Site" or the "Service"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms are written for a global audience. Where local laws impose consumer protections or other mandatory rules, those mandatory local provisions will apply and override any inconsistent term in these Terms to the extent required by law.
MyPiece Inc. operates MyPiece.shop, a global directory and editorial site that lists jewelry businesses, jewelry districts, and publishes Site-created articles (the "Directory" and collectively, the "Service"). The Site is a free-to-use directory and informational resource. The Service does not currently provide user accounts, user-generated reviews, or marketplace / transaction functionality. We may add such features in the future (see Section 6).
You accept these Terms by using the Site. We may change these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don't accept changes, stop using the Site.
At present the Site is browsable without registration and users cannot create accounts, submit listings, or post reviews. Any future introduction of account features or user submissions will be governed by updated Terms and, where applicable, additional rules or policies.
The Directory is compiled by MyPiece and — in some cases — by licensed third parties and data providers. We strive for accuracy, but do not guarantee that any listing information (including business names, addresses, hours, phone numbers, descriptions, images, geocodes, or map pin locations) is correct, complete, current or free from error.
The Site currently uses Mapbox APIs for mapping and geocoding. We may at any time transition to other mapping or backend services (for example Google Maps, Supabase, etc.).
Map data, geocoding and pin locations are approximate and should be independently verified by users before relying on them.
We are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in third-party data sources, nor for any consequences of relying on incorrect location or contact information.
The Site may include links to third-party websites, services, APIs, or content. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Use of any linked third-party service is at your sole risk and subject to that third party's terms. The Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure (for example Vercel) and may depend on other third-party providers; we are not liable for outages or issues caused by those providers.
MyPiece may display advertising on the Site and use third-party advertising services (including, but not limited to, Google AdSense). These third parties may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your browser or device and use that information to provide advertising, measure ad performance, and deliver other services related to advertising. Such third parties may collect data about your activity on this Site and on other sites and may combine that information with other data they have about you.
Our Privacy Policy provides more detail about third-party advertising, the specific vendors we work with, and how to exercise opt-out choices. Please review the Privacy Policy for links and instructions on opting out of personalized advertising (for example via Google Ads Settings or industry opt-out tools).
Although the Service is currently free and limited to site-created editorial content and the Directory, MyPiece Inc. reserves the right to add, remove, or modify features (including paid listings, subscriptions, user accounts, user reviews, marketplace functionality, or advertising formats) at any time. If paid services are introduced, they will be described in updated Terms or a supplemental agreement.
All Site design, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images and other content created by MyPiece Inc. ("Site Content") are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights and are the property of MyPiece Inc. unless otherwise noted. The MyPiece name and logo are trademarks of MyPiece Inc.
You may view and download Site Content for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you keep all copyright and other proprietary notices intact. Any other use (copying, distributing, creating derivative works, commercial use) without our prior written permission is prohibited.
If you believe your copyright has been infringed on the Site, please notify us at support@mypiece.shop with full details so we can investigate. (This is a simple notice procedure — we may implement a formal DMCA/compliance process in time.)
You agree not to use the Site to do any of the following:
- Upload, post or otherwise transmit illegal content or material that infringes the rights of others
- Attempt to access non-public parts of the Site or probe for vulnerabilities
- Interfere with the Site or its infrastructure or attempt to defeat technical protections
- Use the Site to facilitate the sale or promotion of counterfeit, illegal or regulated goods or services
- Harvest or scrape Site content or data except via explicit, documented means authorized by us
We may investigate and take appropriate action for violations, including removing content, blocking access, or terminating any future account if and when accounts are introduced.
The Site and Service are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPiece Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyPiece Inc., its officers, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages (including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising from or relating to your use of the Site, even if we were advised of the possibility of those damages. Our aggregate liability for direct damages in connection with the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim — or, if you paid nothing, a nominal sum (e.g., USD 50), to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MyPiece Inc. and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or any violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or discontinue the Service (or any portion) at any time, with or without notice. We may also block users for misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination (such as sections on IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity) survive termination.
Use of the Site may involve the collection of personal data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy , available at https://mypiece.shop/privacy (or the canonical URL where your privacy policy is hosted), for details about the data we collect, how it is used, cookies, tracking, third-party vendors (including advertising vendors such as Google AdSense), your rights (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA rights where applicable), and how to exercise opt-out choices. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference and forms part of these Terms.
California and Other Local Rights
If you are a resident of California or other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws, you may have additional rights (for example, rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act or rights under data protection laws in the EU/UK). The Privacy Policy contains specific information and opt-out mechanisms (including a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism where required).
These Terms are intended to be global. Where a local mandatory law applies to a consumer user, that law will govern to the extent required. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyPiece Inc. is incorporated (without regard to conflict of laws principles). Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any rights you may have under mandatory local consumer protection legislation.

We will send notices to the email address you provide or by posting notices on the Site. Legal notices to MyPiece Inc. should be sent to support@mypiece.shop (primary) or atroyounce@gmail.com (secondary).
Entire Agreement
These Terms (together with any other documents expressly referred to) form the entire agreement between you and MyPiece Inc. regarding the Site.
Severability
If a court finds any provision of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
No Waiver
Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights.
