A taste of the district

Ginza Jewelry District

Tokyo·Japan·Pearls

Ginza is Tokyo's premier luxury quarter and the birthplace of the cultured pearl — Mikimoto Kōkichi grew the first one in 1893 and opened his Ginza shop in 1899, founding the whole industry from this street. The pearl is the district's signature, sold in the calm appointment showrooms along Chūō-dōri. These are the forms that pearl is worn in, sourced on Amazon so a taste of Ginza can travel home.
